Asset Groups

  • Step 1: Access the Asset Management sub-module of the Finance module from the left sidemenu as shown in the fig1 below
  • Step 2: Click on Asset Groups as shown in the fig1 below.

- This displays a list view of Asset Groups as shown in fig2 below.

- Use the Filter button, when clicked, gives you a dropdown where you can specify various parameters for filtering the records: - Search string: for filtering records as shown in fig3 below

Create a new Asset Group

  • To create an Asset Group, hit the Create button in the toolbar area and populate the form fields.

- The following are some of the fields that needs to be populated: - Group Name - Asset Type - Useful Life

  • You also need to populate the fields in the Policies and Accounts tabs
    • Click the New button in both the Policies and Accounts tabs

    • After filling out the forms(policies, and accounts), the file automatically save by it self.

View an Asset Group

  • From the list view, click on the ID of the Asset group to view it

Edit an Asset Group

  • From the list view, select the Asset Group you want to edit by clicking on a radio button
  • Click the edit button to edit the Asset Group you just selected

Delete an Asset Group

  • From the list view, select the Asset Group you want to delete by clicking on a radio button
  • Click the delete button to delete the Asset Group.
