Navigte to Asset Groups

Step 1: Access the Asset Management sub-module of the Finance module from the left sidemenu as shown in the fig1 below
Step 2: Click on Asset Groups as shown in the fig1 below.

- This displays a list view of Asset Groups as shown in fig2 below.

- Use the Filter button, when clicked, gives you a dropdown where you can specify various parameters for filtering the records: - Search string: for filtering records as shown in fig3 below

Create a new Asset Group

To create an Asset Group, hit the Create button in the toolbar area and populate the form fields.

- The following are some of the fields that needs to be populated: - Group Name - Asset Type - Useful Life

You also need to populate the fields in the Policies and Accounts tabs
- Click the New button in both the Policies and Accounts tabs

Asset Maintenance

Navigte to Asset Maintenance

Step 1: Access the Asset Maintenance sub-module of the Finance module from the left sidemenu as shown in the fig1 below
Step 2: Click on Asset Maintenance as shown in the fig1 below.

This displays a list view of Asset Maintenance.
Use the Filter button, when clicked, gives you a dropdown where you can specify various parameters for filtering the records:
- Search string: for filtering records

Register a new Asset Maintenance

To Register an Asset Maintenance, hit the New button in the toolbar area and populate the form fields.
The following are some of the fields that needs to be populated:

Navigte to Asset Register

Step 1: Access the Asset Management sub-module of the Finance module from the left sidemenu as shown in the fig1 below.
Step 2: Click on Asset Register as shown in the fig1 below.

This displays a list view of Assets with reference to their Asset Group.

Use the Filter button, when clicked, gives you a dropdown where you can specify various parameters for filtering the records:
- Search string: for filtering records
- Company
- Asset Group
- From
- To
- Status

Register a new Asset

To Register an Asset Register, hit the New button in the toolbar area and populate the form fields.

The following are some of the fields that are required to be populated:
- Asset Group
- Asset Name
- Custodian
- Billing Company
- Utilizing Company
- Department

You also need to populate the fields in the Acquistion and Documentation tabs
- Click the New button in both the Acquistion and Documentation tabs
- For the Acquistion, make sure to fill the Invoice Amount, Vendor and Withholding tax.
- After filling out the form, hit the Save and Close button.

View a Registered Asset

From the list view, click on the ID of the registered asset to view it

Edit a Registered Asset

You cannot edit an asset that has been acquired. You can only edit an asset that has been registered but with a status of pending.
From the list view, select the registered asset you want to edit by clicking on a radio button
Click the edit button to edit the asset.

Delete an Asset

From the list view, select the asset you want to delete by clicking on a radio button
Click the delete button to delete the asset.

Other actions than can be carried out

The following actions can be carried on an asset:
- Initialized - By selecting the asset and clicking the initialize button
- Depreciated - By selecting the asset and clicking the Depreciate button
- DepreciateAll - All assets can be depreciated
- Discard - An asset can be discarded
- Uninitialized
- Reverse Depreciation
- Reverse All Depreciation
- Unfinalize

Export all Data

All the data about registered assets can be export to excel by clicking the Export button.
