Finance Houses

Navigate to Finance House#

• Access the Master Data sub-module of the Organisation module

• Click on Finance Houses

• This displays a list view of Finance Houses

• Use the Filter button, when clicked, gives you a dropdown where you can specify various parameters for filtering the records:
  • Search string: for filtering records
  • Company Type: A dropdown list of companies
  • Status: dropdown list of status types.

Create a new Finance House#

• To create a Finance House, hit the New button in the toolbar area and populate the form fields.

• The following are some of the fields that needs to be populated:

  • FinHouseNo:
  • ClassCode: A drop-down list of different types of Finance House class code.
  • FinHouseCode:
  • FinHouseName:
  • SortCode:

• You also need to populate the fields in the following tabs:

  • Address: The address of the Finance house
  • Contact Details: Contact details of the Finance house
  • Related Parties: Someone related to the company, like a manager
  • Location
  • Statement Integration

• When done, hit the Save and Close button.

Update an Finance House#

• To update the data of a Finance House, take the following steps:
  • From the list view, select the Finance house you want to update and click the Update button
  • This brings you to an edit view of the item where updates can be made

Activate a Finance House#

• Only pending Finance houses can be activated.
  • Use the Filter to search for the finance house with a status of pending and hit the Activate button

Deactivate a Finance House#

• Only active Finance houses can be deactivated
  • Select the active Finance house you want to deactivate
  • Click the Deactivate button

Merge two Finance Houses#

• Two Finance houses can be merged together, especially when there is a merger
• From the list view, select the Finance house, then click the merge button
• Now, specify the merge parameters:
  • Delete Source: select true or false
  • Source: search for the hosue you want to merge into
