Introduction

The TradeOffice Payslips module is designed to streamline the management and distribution of employee payslips. It typically includes features like:

  • Employee Salary Details: Displays comprehensive breakdowns of salary components (e.g., basic pay, allowances, deductions).
  • Tax and Benefits: Reflects contributions towards taxes, pensions, and other schemes.
  • Pay Period Summary:Provides a detailed view of earnings over specific periods.
  • Downloadable Payslips: Allows employees to access and download payslips.
  • Compliance:Ensures that payroll processing complies with local laws and regulations.
  • This module helps both employees and administrators efficiently manage salary and compensation.

Tutorial

Here’s a step-by-step tutorial for using the TradeOffice Payslips module:

  1. Login: Access the TradeOffice system using your credentials.
  2. Navigate to Self Sercice: Go to the Compensation section and select the Payslips option.
  3. Select Employee: Choose the employee whose payslip you want to view or generate.
  4. Choose Pay Period: Select the appropriate pay period (e.g., monthly, bi-weekly).
  5. View or Generate Payslip: Click on "View Payslip" to see the breakdown of earnings, deductions, taxes, etc. You can download or print it.
  6. Download or Print: Click on the download or print button for distribution.

On the drop down you can search for the payslip information that you want by entering the string you want to search for and by selecting the start and end date.

When you click on the calendar near the start or end date, they will be a display of a calendar. You can select the date that you want by clicking on the date on the calendar.

Explanation of Variables

In the context of payslips, the following terms refer to specific elements of payroll management:

  • ID:Unique identifier for each payslip or payroll record.
  • Staff:The employee for whom the payslip is generated.
  • Billing Company:The entity responsible for disbursing the salary (e.g., the employer).
  • Disbursed Total Basepay:The basic salary amount before any allowances or deductions.
  • Disbursed Total Allowances:Extra payments beyond base pay (e.g., housing, transport).
  • Disbursed Total Benefits:Employer-provided benefits like healthcare or pension contributions.
  • Tax to Pay:Total tax deducted from the employee's salary.
  • Disbursed Total Deductions:Total of other deductions (e.g., loans, pension contributions).
  • Disbursed Total Refunds:Amounts reimbursed to the employee (if applicable).
  • Disbursed Final Payout:The net salary paid out to the employee after all calculations.
